Viabilidad de implantación de la tasa turística en Santander

Abstract

RESUMEN: A lo largo de este trabajo se pretende analizar la utilidad que se le da al impuesto turístico, su aplicación en la ciudad de Barcelona y su posible aplicación en la ciudad de Santander. Asimismo, se relaciona la tasa turística con la eco-tasa o tasa para el turismo sostenible, el origen de éste y sus posibles consecuencias. Se pretenden validar las posibles utilidades que esta tasa tendría en la ciudad de Santander y la opinión del impuesto por parte de los turistas. Por último, también se tratarán y analizarán las consecuencias de un turismo descontrolado o de masas y los diferentes métodos de gestión que se aplican en las ciudades.

ABSTRACT: The aim of this paper is to analyse the role played by the tourist tax, its use in Barcelona and its possible application in Santander. In addition, the tourist tax will be linked to the eco-tax for sustainable tourism, its origin and its possible consequences. The purpose is to validate the possible uses this tax would have in Santander and the tourists’ opinion about it. Lastly, the consequences of uncontrolled or mass tourism will be addressed and the different management methods that are applied in cities.
