Aplicaciones Educativas en Educación Superior. Estudio sobre su uso en docentes y estudiantes

Abstract

Resumen: El Mobile Learning supone un reto en los contextos educativos y el Smartphone es uno de los dispositivos con mayores opciones al poder utilizarlo en cualquier lugar y momento. Esta investigación trata de conocer cuáles son las aplicaciones más utilizadas por los docentes y estudiantes de Educación Superior. Para ello, se ha realizado una investigación cuantitativa en la que se han analizado los datos procedentes de dos cuestionarios diseñados ad hoc, uno destinado a estudiantes (n = 483) y otro a docentes (n = 293). Los principales resultados señalan que los estudiantes hacen un uso de las aplicaciones superior a los docentes y que las aplicaciones de comunicación son las más utilizadas por ambos colectivos.

Abstract: Mobile Learning is a challenge in educational contexts and the Smartphone is one of the devices that offer the largest number of options, since it can be used anywhere and anytime. The present investigation is about knowing which applications are mostly used by lectures and Higher Education students. For this, data from two questionnaires have been analysed, one destined to students (n = 483) and the other to lectures (n = 293). The main results indicate that students make more use of the applications for the Smartphone than lectures do and communication applications are the ones mostly used.
