Saneamiento de la bahía de Santander

Abstract

RESUMEN. El saneamiento de la Bahía de Santander constituye una de las obras más emblemáticas y singulares llevadas a cabo en Cantabria en los últimos tiempos. Su realización se está llevando a cabo en tres fases (colector, bombeo-emisario submarino, estación depuradora) que permitirán la entrada en servicio de todo el sistema de canalización, tratamiento y evacuación de las aguas residuales a principio del año 2001. En el presente artículo se sintetizan los aspectos técnicos más relevantes de los proyectos que engloba esta obra.

ABSTRACT. The sanitation of the Santander Bay constitutes one of the most important civil works carried out in Cantabria in the recent time. Three different stages have been scheduled (main sewer, pumping station-submarine cutfall, treatment plant) in order to facilitate the coming into service of the system of transport, depuration and discharge of sewage at the beginning of the year 2001. This paper summarizes the most relevant issues regarding the technical features of the corresponding engineering projects.
