Propuesta para la conservación y valoración de la colección de vestimenta e indumentaria Vera Simons

Abstract

RESUMEN El presente trabajo trata de recoger información sobre una de las colecciones más originales de vestimenta e indumentaria de moda histórica, sobre la necesidad de su conservación y sobre una propuesta de puesta en valor para la misma. El objetivo principal es conservar la colección y establecer fórmulas adecuadas para su puesta en valor. Se realizará un informe sobre la colección lo más exhaustivo posible. La colección Vera Simons, cuenta a día de hoy con ciento trece trajes, de mujer y de hombre, de niño y de niña y está compuesta por trajes y por complementos. Tanto la vestimenta como la indumentaria han sido elaborados en época reciente, a lo largo de los últimos veinte años, pero, su importancia reside en que la técnica, estilo y materiales de elaboración recrean los mismos que se utilizaban en las épocas históricas en las que están inspirados, momento en el que en Europa y en España la moda era la que se manifiesta en los diseños de gran parte de la colección.

ABSTRACT The present work seeks to collect information about one of the most original historical fashion collections of clothing and dress, about the need for its conservation and about the proposal for putting in value it. The main objective is to preserve the collection and to establish appropriate formulas for put it in value. A report about the collection will be carried as exhaustively as possible. The Vera Simons collection, has today hundred and thirteen costumes, both of woman and man, of boy and girl and is composed of both costumes and accessories. Both, clothing and dress have been developed in recent times, along twenty past years old, but its importance lies in the fact that the technique, style and processing materials recreate the same as those used in past epochs, a time when in Europe and Spain mode was what manifests itself in the designs of a large part of the collection.
