Crisis orgánica, dependencia y neofascismo periférico en América Latina. Ensayo de presentación e interpretación

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The objective of the article is to analyze in historical perspective the structural tendency of Latin American societies towards peripheral neofascism, within the framework of the marxist theory of dependency and without losing sight of the new geopolitical context marked by the organic crisis of global capitalism (the secular stagnation of developed countries) and the hegemonic transition between the us and China. After the theoretical delimitation of the concept, the main hypothesis is that peripheral neofascism would be the response of the transnationalized dominant bloc to the contradictions of neoliberal globalization, with the conclusion that the peripheral neofascism of the 21st century would correspond to the higher phase of neoliberalism, the last stage of imperialism, in the countries of Latin America.

RESUMEN. El objetivo del artículo es analizar en perspectiva histórica la tendencia estructural de las sociedades latinoamericanas hacia el neofascismo periférico, dentro del marco de la teoría marxista de la dependencia, y sin perder de vista el nuevo contexto geopolítico marcado por la crisis orgánica del capitalismo global (el estancamiento secular de los países desarrollados) y la transición hegemónica entre EEUU y China. Tras la delimitación teórica del concepto, la hipótesis principal es que el neofascismo periférico sería la respuesta del bloque dominante transnacionalizado a las contradicciones de la globalización neoliberal, con la conclusión de que el neofascismo periférico del siglo XXI correspondería a la fase superior del neoliberalismo, el último estadio del imperialismo, en los países de América Latina.
