Incidencia de CANTUR en el turismo de Cantabria

Abstract

RESUMEN: El turismo es uno de los sectores más importantes para la economía de los países. En el caso de este análisis, analizaré la importancia que tiene para España y Cantabria, que son el país y la comunidad en los cuales se basará el análisis. España es un país turístico, cada año millones de turistas vienen a nuestro país atraídos por la gastronomía, costa, montaña, deportes, patrimonio artístico, historia, diversidad cultural de las grandes urbes…, ofertando una amplia variedad de destinos turísticos, para todo tipo de gustos. Si hablamos de belleza, podemos destacar la parte septentrional de la península. En el caso de Cantabria, un paraíso donde el mar y la montaña se fusionan para dar lugar a unos paisajes idílicos, rodeados de naturaleza y un verde característico. A destacar, el Parque de la Naturaleza de Cabárceno, que con una extensión de 750 hectáreas alberga a animales de los cinco continentes en condiciones de semilibertad, o el Parque Nacional de los Picos de Europa, con unas vistas espectaculares y un teleférico que te desplaza a los mayores picos de la cordillera. La comunidad de Cantabria también cuenta con nueve cuevas declaradas Patrimonio Mundial por la Unesco, lideradas por las cuevas de Altamira, que están consideradas el núcleo del Arte Paleolítico. Todo esto, unido al encanto de sus pueblos o la amplia oferta gastronómica lo hacen altamente recomendable. Como veremos a continuación, el objetivo final de este trabajo de fin de grado es ver la repercusión que tiene la empresa CANTUR en el turismo de Cantabria, analizando datos como el PIB, el empleo que genera o el numero de visitantes en comparación con el turismo total que visita la región, ya sea nacional o propios turistas cántabros.

ABSTRACT: Tourism is one of the most important sectors for the countries' economy. In the case of this analysis, I will analyze the importance that it has for Spain and Cantabria, which are the country and the community on which the analysis will be based. Spain is a tourist country, every year millions of tourists come to our country attracted by the gastronomy, coast, mountains, sports, artistic heritage, history, cultural diversity of the big cities ..., offering a wide variety of tourist destinations, for all kinds of tastes. If we talk about beauty, we can highlight the northern part of the peninsula. In the case of Cantabria, a paradise where the sea and the mountains merge to give rise to idyllic landscapes, surrounded by nature and a characteristic green. To be highlighted, the Cabárceno Nature Park, which with an area of 750 hectares houses animals from the five continents in conditions of semi-freedom, or the Picos de Europa National Park, with spectacular views and a cable car that moves you to the highest peaks of the mountain range. The Cantabria community also has nine caves declared World Heritage by Unesco, led by the Altamira caves, which are considered the nucleus of Paleolithic Art. All this, together with the charm of its towns or the wide gastronomic offer make it highly recommended. As we will see below, the final objective of this final degree project is to see the impact that the CANTUR company has on tourism in Cantabria, analyzing data such as GDP, the employment it generates or the number of visitors compared to tourism Total visiting the region, either national or Cantabrian tourists themselves.
