COVID-19 y enseñanza de la Geografía: propuesta didáctica de una WebQuest como alternativa a la salida de campo

Abstract

RESUMEN: La suspensión de las salidas de campo en geografía a causa de este periodo marcado por la COVID-19 junto a la necesidad de renovar la didáctica de la Geografía, son las razones principales que han llevado a presentar esta propuesta didáctica. Dicha propuesta se basa en realizar una salida de campo virtual por el Valle del Nansa a través de la utilización de las TIC, las cuales ofrecen la posibilidad de observar y analizar el exterior sin moverse del aula. No obstante, al haber gran cantidad de recursos digitales relacionados con la geografía, se ha optado por diseñar una WebQuest (WQ), herramienta digital cuyo principal propósito es que el alumnado invierta el tiempo manejando los recursos y la información que hay en la red, y no buscándola. Además, la WQ se basa en los principios del aprendizaje activo lo que favorece la consolidación de contenidos teóricos y al desarrollo de las competencias clave.

ABSTRACT: The suspension of field trips in geography due to this period marked by COVID-19, alongside the need to renew the didactics of Geography, are the main reasons leading to present this didactic proposal. This proposal is based on carrying out a virtual field trip through the Nansa Valley thanks to the use of ICTs, which offer the possibility of observing and analyzing the outside without leaving the classroom. However, since there are a large number of digital resources related to geography, it has been decided to design a WebQuest, a digital tool whose main purpose is students spend time managing the resources and information that are on the Internet, and not looking for it Furthermore, the WQ is based on the principles of active learning, which favours the consolidation of theoretical content and the development of key competences.
