Evaluación energética y componentes necesarios para la conversión del motor Ruston 20rk270 de diésel a modo dual fuel

Abstract

En este trabajo fin de máster se estudia la posibilidad de convertir los 4 motoresde un catamarán de alta velocidad que consume diesel oil marino, que transporta carga y pasaje entre las Islas Canarias a modo Dual Fuel, el cual trabajaría de manera simultánea con gas natural y Diesel Oíl Marino, con el fin de reducir las emisiones y reducir de manera considerable los costes del barco en lo referido a combustible. Se realizará una descripción de los componentes del motor que se necesitaría modificar y los que se necesitarían implantar para poder adaptarlo a modo dual, haciendo una valoración energética comparando entre el modo actual y el modo dual fuel
