L'art de l'ingénieur constructeur entrepeneur interventeur. Gran exposición en el centro Georges Pompidou de Paris

Abstract

RESUMEN. En el Centro Georges Pompidou de París, el próximo 24 de junio se inaugurará la exposición titulada "L´Art de l´Ingénieur", probablemente la más importante muestra realizada acerca de la ingeniería civil desde mediados del siglo XIX hasta finales del XX, siendo comisarios de la misma José A. Fernández Ordóñez, de Madrid, y Raymond Guidot y Alain Guiheux, de París. Entre las aportaciones más interesantes de esta exposición está la publicación de un Diccionario de vocablos relacionados con la ingeniería civil, de 600 páginas. Dado su interés, la ROP publica en este número las voces redactadas por los ingenieros de caminos José A. Fernández Ordóñez, Juan José Arenas de Pablo y José Ramón Navarro Vera. La brevedad de los textos es debida a que el número total de signos del Diccionario estaba estrictamente limitado. Se celebrará un coloquio internacional sobre el tema del arte de la ingeniería en el Centro Georges Pompidou los días 25 y 26 de septiembre.

ABSTRACT. In the Georges Pompidou Centre in París, an exhibition will be opened on June 24 under the title "L´art de l´Ingénieur" probably the most important presentation of civil engineering between the mid-nineteenth century and the end of the twentieth. Among the most interesting features of the exhibition is the publication of a 600 page dictionary of terms related to civil engineering. Fernández Ordóñez, Juan José Arenas de Pablo and José Ramón Navarro Vera. The brevity of the texts is due to the very limited number of entries allowed in the dictionary. An international discussion of the art of engineering will be held in the Georges Pompidou Centre on September 25-26.
