El mundo del trabajo: crisis y perspectivas

Abstract

RESUMEN: El mundo desde la segunda mitad del siglo XX ha estado controlado por un fenómeno: La globalización. La globalización es un proceso con varias facetas, y como es lógico, afecta a la economía, imponiendo una economía neoliberal, y más importante, afecta al mercado laboral. En el presente trabajo se habla de la concepción que ha tenido la sociedad sobre el trabajo a lo largo de la historia desde la Antigua Grecia (poniendo el foco en cómo esto ha afectado a la integración social por el trabajo) y de cómo este mundo globalizado basado en el neoliberalismo ha desembocado en tres aspectos clave: “la huida del mundo del derecho”, la crisis y desestructuración del modelo de trabajo clásico rutinario, y la creación de una nueva clase social: “El Precariado”.

ABSTRACT: Ever since the second half of the 20th century the world has been ruled by a widespread phenomenon: globalization. Globalization is a polifacetic process, and as is logical, it affects the economy, imposing a neoliberal economy, and, most importantly, it affects the labour market. This essay talks about how society’s conception of labour has changed throughout history since Ancient Greece (focusing on how the social integration has been affected by it) and how the globalized and neoliberal-based world has led to three key aspects: the withering importance of the law, the crisis and breakdown of the classic routine-based labour, and the creation of a new social class: “The Precariat”
