RESUMEN: Este trabajo está dividido en tres partes. En la primera parte veremos lo que es una democracia representativa y los elementos por los que se caracteriza, analizaremos las funciones más importantes de los partidos políticos, así como su regulación. En segundo lugar, hablaremos de la actual crisis en la que se encuentra el sistema de la democracia representativa, cuáles han sido las causas de su aparición y sus consecuencias.
Finalmente, nos centraremos en las posibles soluciones a dicha situación.
ABSTRACT: This proyect is divided into three parts. In the first part we will see what a representative democracy is and the elements that characterized it, we will analyze the most important functions of political parties, as well as their regulation. Secondly, we will talk about the current crisis in which the representative democracy system is located, what have been the causes of its appearance and its consequences. Finally, we will focus on the possiblle solutions to this situation
