dc.description.abstractSuspension damping makes a significant contribution to the driving dynamics of a vehicle by ensuring road grip and the rapid reduction of wheel load fluctuations. If the suspension damping is changed by installing different shock absorbers, this not only changes the driving comfort but also the vehicle’s driving dynamics characteristics. The objective of this work is to investigate the effects of different dampers and springs on the driving comfort and driving dynamics characteristics of a test vehicle by means of a quarter vehicle model. The parameterization and validation of the complete vehicle model is carried out using measurements data of a test vehicle.es_ES
