El sistema de preservación documental del concejo de Los Corrales de Buelna en el siglo XVIII

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo reconstruye de forma retrospectiva, utilizando la metodología de las ciencias y técnicas historiográficas, el modelo de preservación documental del concejo de Los Corrales de Buelna (Cantabria), bajo la jurisdicción señorial del marquesado de Aguilar, a partir del análisis de un inventario de documentos producido en la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII. El archivo concejil se revela como una herramienta con capacidad para delimitar la jurisdicción territorial y garantizar el cumplimiento de los derechos y privilegios obtenidos antaño por los distintos pueblos del valle de Buelna, de ahí la importancia de su conservación.

ABSTRACT: This work reconstructs in a retrospective way, using the methodology of historiographic sciences and techniques, the model of documentary preservation of the Council of Los Corrales de Buelna (Cantabria), under the lordly jurisdiction of the Marquisate of Aguilar, from the analysis of an inventory of documents produced in the second half of the eighteenth century. The municipal archive is revealed as a tool with the capacity to delimit the territorial jurisdiction and guarantee the fulfillment of the rights and privileges obtained in the past by the different towns of the Buelna valley, hence the importance of its conservation.
