Implantación del Plan de Orientación Académica y Profesional en los Institutos de Educación Secundaria, ¿es efectivo o no para el alumnado?

Abstract

RESUMEN El actual trabajo tiene como finalidad lograr un análisis detallado del Plan de Orientación Académica y Profesional (POAP) a lo largo de la historia, pero primordialmente, se pretende dar una visión más reciente del rol que tiene este Plan en los Institutos de Educación Secundaria (IES) y, más específicamente, en la etapa de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (E.S.O.). Para apoyar y completar el propósito de este trabajo, se han considerado diferentes materias de estudio. Por un lado, se reflejará una investigación descriptiva que abarcará diversos aspectos relativos a la cuestión de estudio, lo cual permitirá adquirir grandes conocimientos para su entendimiento. Por otro lado, se intercalará un estudio numérico a partir de un cuestionario al alumnado de primero de Bachillerato de la modalidad tanto de Ciencias como de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales. Esto posibilitará alcanzar la opinión general que tienen los alumnos de la ciudad de Santander acerca de la aplicación, relevancia y valoración que posee el POAP en los IES durante la etapa de E.S.O. Con toda esta información, se pretende conseguir una mayor certeza y un conocimiento más amplio respecto al tema que nos incumbe, e intentar encontrar una resolución relevante a la cuestión principal que se plantea: ¿es efectivo para el alumnado la implantación de este Plan?

ABSTRACT The current project aims to achieve a detailed analysis of the Academic and Professional Orientation Plan throughout history, but primarily, the main objective is to give a more recent vision of the role that this Plan has in High Schools and, more specifically, during the stage of Secondary Education. In order to support and enhance the purpose of this project, we have considered different subjects of study. On the one hand, a descriptive investigation that will cover various aspects related to the study question will be reflected, which will allow acquiring great knowledge for your understanding. On the other hand, a numerical study will be interspersed from a questionnaire to the first-year Baccalaureate students of the modality of both Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences. This will make it possible to reach the general opinion that the students of the city of Santander have about the application, relevance and assessment of the Academic and Professional Orientation Plan in High Schools during the stage of Secondary Education. With all this information, we attempt to reach greater certainty and a broader knowledge about the issue that concerns us, and try to find a relevant conclusion to our main question: is the implementation of this Plan effective for students?
