Abstract

RESUMEN El Museo Nacional y Centro de Investigación de Altamira se inaugura en 2001 y es una parte importante en el estudio y divulgación del arte rupestre. En este trabajo se pretende constatar la relevancia de la conservación y la investigación, así como señalar el papel central que tienen los museos en la sociedad. Ha sido posible gracias a las prácticas realizadas en el Departamento de Investigación y Conservación

ABSTRACT The National Museum and Research Center of Altamira was opened in 2001 and is a fundamental piece in the research and sharing of Paleolithic art. The aim of this report has been to establish the relevance of conservation and research, as well as to show the main role of museums in the society; it is the ultimate result of the practices I have developped in that institution
