El albúm ilustrado y sus potencialidades educativas: Anthony Browne

Abstract

RESUMEN: El álbum ilustrado, a partir de los años 60, comenzó a ser un género en auge y valorado, ganándose su puesto dentro de la Literatura Infantil. El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad dar a conocer el potencial educativo del álbum ilustrado como recurso educativo en Educación Infantil. Para ello, se repasará el marco teórico de la literatura infantil, del álbum ilustrado y la importancia de este como recurso educativo. Tras esto, nos centraremos en el autor Anthony Browne, haciendo un breve repaso sobre su vida y analizando dos de sus álbumes ilustrados, basándose en algunas de las características más comunes de sus obras. Finalmente, se planteará una pequeña propuesta didáctica con los dos álbumes ilustrados.

ABSTRACT: The illustrated album, from the 60s, started to be a booming and valued genre, earning its place in Children's Literature. The purpose of this work is to make known the educational potential of the illustrated album as an Educational resource in Early Childhood Education. To that end, the theoretical framework of children's literature, the illustrated album and the importance of the album as an educational resource will be reviewed. After this, we will focus on the autor Anthony Browne, doing a brief review of his life and analyzing two of his illustrated albums, based on some of the most common characteristics of his works. Finally, a small didactic proposal will be proposed with the two illustrated albums.
