Dificultades del aprendizaje en Infantil y Primaria en el área de matemáticas

Abstract

RESUMEN: El incremento constante de las dificultades del aprendizaje en la escuela tiene importantes repercusiones tanto a nivel individual como a nivel escolar, pero son las matemáticas el área más notable. En este trabajo se resume el significado que tiene la competencia matemática y el conocimiento matemático para desarrollar el razonamiento de todo lo que nos rodea. Hay que destacar, que el docente debe saber las causas que provocan esta dificultad y saber abordarlas para dar una respuesta global y objetiva a los alumnos. Puesto que es evidente una necesaria formación en este ámbito, la discalculia, se ponen de manifiesto las creencias y actitudes que los alumnos tienen hacia la materia siendo una oportunidad para conocer más a los alumnos y empezar a trabajar desde este aspecto. Para cumplir con el objetivo fundamental de este trabajo, reflexionar y concienciar sobre dicho tema, se ofrece a los docentes de Educación Infantil y Primaria este material.

ABSTRACT: The steady increase in learning difficulties in school has important repercussions both individually and at the school level, but mathematics is the most notable area. This work summarizes the meaning of mathematical competence and mathematical knowledge to develop the reasoning of every around us. It should be noted that the teacher must know the causes that cause this difficulty and know how to address them to give a global and objective response to the students. Since training is necessary, dyscalculia, it shows the beliefs and attitudes that students have towards the subject being an opportunity to get to know the students more and start working from this aspect. To fulfil the fundamental objective of this work, reflect and raise awareness on this topic, is offered to teachers of Early Childhood and Primary Education this material.
