Bibliotecas escolares: un espacio por redescubrir

Abstract

RESUMEN: En este trabajo fin de grado se presenta una revisión bibliográfica exhaustiva sobre las bibliotecas escolares, ahondado en el uso actual que se le suele dar a este espacio desde las instituciones educativas y analizando su contribución al área de la literatura, así como sus características, sus funciones, la importancia de la organización y el diseño. Seguidamente se realiza un análisis crítico de esta información, analizando los argumentos expuestos por los distintos autores y obteniendo posibles líneas de actuación a modo de orientación que permitan mejorar y aumentar el uso que se hace actualmente de las bibliotecas escolares, tanto por parte de los estudiantes como por parte de los docentes.

ABSTRACT: This end-of-degree research presents an exhaustive bibliographic review of school libraries, delving into the current use that is usually given to this space from educational institutions and analyzing its contribution to the area of literature, as well as its characteristics, its functions, the importance of organization and design. A critical analysis of this information is then carried out, analysing the arguments put forward by the different authors and obtaining possible lines of action as guidance to improve and increase the use currently made of school libraries by both students and teachers.
