La coeducación en Educación Primaria

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este Trabajo Fin de Grado pretende indagar y analizar el sentido de la coeducación en el ámbito de la Educación Primaria. Para ello, se parte de la comprensión del concepto en profundidad, así como los conocimientos básicos que ello requiere. Porque la coeducación no es aquella que simplemente educa a ambos sexos en las mismas escuelas y con idéntico programa educativo, sino que va más allá. Es una transformación cultural que elimine las conductas sexistas presentes todavía hoy en los centros escolares, permitiendo el desarrollo integral del alumnado y con ello, la posibilidad de ser quienes quieren ser. En este sentido, el trabajo incluye una propuesta de intervención coeducativa en el aula de Educación Primaria, con el objetivo de acabar con la discriminación de género que actualmente sigue existiendo.

ABSTRACT: This Final Degree Project work aims to investigate and analyze the meaning of coeducation in the field of Primary Education. To do so, it is based on the understanding of the concept in depth, as well as the basic knowledge that it requires. Because coeducation is not that which simply educates both sexes in the same schools and with the same educational program, but it goes beyond that. It is a cultural transformation that eliminates the sexist behaviours still present in schools today, allowing the integral development of students and with it, the possibility of being who they want to be. In this sense, the work includes a proposal for coeducational intervention in the primary education classroom, with the aim of ending the gender discrimination that still exists today.
