Uso de las TICS en el aula de inglés en Educación Primaria. Implementación de una Webquest en el aula de inglés

Abstract

RESUMEN Las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación están invadiendo todos los aspectos de nuestro día a día. Esto hace que la sociedad se tenga que adaptar a esta revolución tecnológica desde diferentes ámbitos, y, evidentemente, estos cambios también afectan a la educación, que tiene que actualizarse y renovarse. La lengua inglesa también está irrumpiendo en la sociedad de tal manera que se ha impuesto como lengua vehicular por excelencia. Hoy en día el dominio de dicha lengua, junto con el de las TICs, supone más oportunidades de éxito en el mundo laboral. Es por eso por lo que en este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se ofrece una herramienta TIC (webquest) para la mejora de la enseñanza y aprendizaje del inglés en Educación Primaria. Dicha herramienta es analizada mostrando sus principales características, así como sus potencialidades.

ABSTRACT Information and Communication Technologies are invading all of our routines. This means that the society has to adapt to this technological revolution from different areas, and, obviously, these changes also affect education, which has to be updated and renovated. The English language is also breaking into society in such a way that it has become the quintessential vehicular language. Nowadays, the mastery of this language, together with that of ICT, means more opportunities for success in the world of work. That is why this End of Degree Project offers an ICT tool (a webquest) to improve the teaching and learning of English in Primary Education. This tool is analyzed showing its main characteristics, as well as its potential.
