RESUMEN.Con el objetivo de divulgar el patrimonio de la ingeniería civil, en concreto el relacionado con las estructuras de paso en la comunidad de Cantabria, la Consejería de Obras Públicas y Vivienda del Gobierno de Cantabria patrocinó en el año 2006 la publicación de un pequeño catálogo de puentes construidos a lo largo del tiempo para salvar los ríos Pas y Pisueña. Son estructuras de distintas tipologías y épocas, unas conservadas y otras modificadas para su adaptación a las actuales exigencias. De algunas de ellas, hilvanes en el tejido histórico de la red caminera de la región, trata este artículo.
ABSTRACT.In order to publicise our civil engineering heritage and, specifically that related to road structures in the Cantabrian region, the Public Works and Housing Department of the Cantabrian Government sponsored, in 2006, the publication of a brief catalogue of the bridges built throughout the years to cross the Pas and Pisueña rivers. The publication revealed structures of different types and ages, with some remaining intact and others modified to adapt to current requirements. This article discusses some of these structures that trace the historic development of the road network in the region.
