El Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de los Pueblos Locales de la Península de Kamchatka

Abstract

RESUMEN El presente trabajo analiza la herencia cultural de los pueblos que hoy habitan la Península de Kamchatka, en el Nordeste de Rusia. Los objetivos consisten en analizar el patrimonio inmaterial de los dos pueblos locales que actualmente habitan esta Península, koriakos e itelmenen, y en estudiar las dificultades actuales para conservación de este patrimonio. Se trata de un vasto patrimonio profundamente apegado a la historia, compuesto por tradiciones y costumbres que proporcionan un fuerte sentimiento de identidad a estos pueblos. Este patrimonio inmaterial se compone de creencias, tradiciones y costumbres que han sido mantenidas en el tiempo con la ayuda de una vigorosa literatura oral.

ABSTRACT The present work analyzes the cultural heritage of the indigenous peoples that today inhabit the Kamchatka Peninsula, in the Northeast of Russia. The objectives are to analyse the intangible heritage of the two indigenous peoples that currently inhabit this peninsula, koriakos and itelmenen, and to study the current difficulties in conserving this heritage. It is a vast heritage deeply attached to history, composed of traditions and customs that provide a strong sense of identity to these peoples. This intangible heritage is composed of beliefs, traditions and customs that have been maintained over time with the help of a vigorous oral literature.
