Arte flamenco e hispanoflamenco en Cantabria: Inventario y análisis histórico-artístico

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo pretende hacer una aproximación al estado de las piezas flamencas e hispanoflamencas conocidas en Cantabria, analizando las características definitorias de las corrientes europeas y cómo estas influyeron de formas más o menos directas en el desarrollo de estilos regionales propios. Así, aparecieron técnicas y recursos estilísticos exclusivamente hispanos, tanto por innovación castellana como por transmisión de las técnicas ya conocidas a través de artistas foráneos establecidos en la zona.

ABSTRACT: The present work aims to make an approximation to the state of the flemish and Spanish-flemish known in Cantabria, analysing from the defining characteristics of European currents how they influenced in more or less direct ways the development of their own regional styles. Thus, exclusively Hispanic stylistic techniques and resources appeared, due to both Castilian innovation and the transmission of techniques already known through foreign artists established in the area.
