Advances by Spanish Operations Management researchers in 2019: the case of ACEDEDOT members

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Are you a member of an organization that needs to contact a researcher who works on a topic you are interested in? Are you a PhD supervisor trying to identify experts of an spe-cific topic for the Dissertation Committee? Are you thinking about a research / publication project and want to find some new partners to collaborate with? If you answered yes to any of these questions (or similar questions), this work may be of interest to you. The objective of this article is to summarize the research published in 2019 by Spanish researchers in the area of operations management, who are ACEDEDOT members. This will allow us to iden-tify themes that are considered relevant in the context of a country and a specific organiza-tional or social framework. At the same time, it will make it possible to identify groups of experts by subject area, which may lead to future research, teaching or participation in doctoral thesis committees. In the same way, it can be used so that managers and practi-tioners can detect lines of work related to their needs. This could help to reduce the gap be-tween business and university, promoting mutual collaboration. Finally, if this work is rep-licated in the coming years, we will have a quick approximation of how the priority interests evolve for a group of national researchers.

RESUMEN. ¿Eres una organización y quieres contactar con un investigador que trabaje sobre un tema que te interesa? ¿Eres director de tesis y quieres localizar expertos para evaluadores o tri-bunal?¿Estás pensando un proyecto de investigación/publicación y quieres contactar con alguien para colaborar? Si has respondido que sí a alguna de estas preguntas (o preguntas parecidas), este trabajo puede resultarte de interés. El objetivo de este artículo es resumir la investigación publicada en el año 2019 por investigadores españoles del área de direc-ción de operaciones que son miembros de ACEDEDOT. Esto nos permitirá identificar los temas que se consideran relevantes en el contexto de un país y de un entramado organizati-vo o social concreto. Al mismo tiempo permitirá identificar grupos de expertos por áreas temáticas, lo que puede dar lugar a futuras colaboraciones de investigación, de docencia o de participación en tribunales de tesis doctorales. Del mismo modo, puede servir para que los directivos de organizaciones puedan detectar líneas de trabajo afines a sus necesida-des. Esto podría ayudar a reducir la brecha entre empresa y universidad, potenciando una colaboración mútua. Por último, si se replica este trabajo en los próximos años, podremos tener una aproximación rápida de cómo evolucionan los intereses prioritarios para un co-lectivo de investigadores nacionales.
