ABSTRACT: The aim of this project is to analyze the international child abduction in our legal system from the point of view of International Private Law. We will study the concept of this figure, as well as consequences and its special connection to the superior interests of the child. Subsequently, we will focus in the international instruments in which it’s regulated, with reference to the new Council Regulation (EU) 2019/1111 of 25 June 2019.
