Análisis semántico y caracterización discursiva de las letras de desechables

Abstract

El presente trabajo pretende diseñar y aplicar un protocolo de análisis semántico-discursivo para estudiar los corpus lingüísticos del ámbito musical. Para ello, se establecen unas bases teóricas en el análisis del discurso y la lingüística de corpus y se revisa la caracterización discursiva de los textos musicales en general y de los pertenecientes al movimiento punk en particular. Asimismo, se continúa la trayectoria de los estudios interdisciplinares que valoran esta forma artística y sociocultural vanguardista y disidente. La investigación adopta una metodología mixta basada en el enfoque semántico-pragmático, desembocando en la creación de una herramienta lingüística formada por cuatro bloques de variables —mecanismos deícticos, personas y voces del discurso, actividades de imagen y centros de interés semántico— y sus variantes. Esta ficha es aplicada sobre el corpus musical de la banda punk española Desechables (1981-1989), compilado específicamente para el estudio. Finalmente, se exponen los resultados obtenidos y las conclusiones de la investigación.

This work aims to design and apply a protocol of semantic-discursive analysis to study the linguistic corpora of the musical field. To this end, theoretical bases in the analysis of discourse and corpus linguistics are established and the discursive characterisation of musical texts in general and of those belonging to the punk movement in particular is reviewed. Furthermore, the trajectory of interdisciplinary studies that value this avant-garde and dissident artistic and socio-cultural form is followed. The research adopts a mixed methodology based on a semantic-pragmatic approach, leading to the creation of a linguistic analysis sheet composed of four blocks of variables —deictic mechanisms, people and voices of discourse, image activities and centres of semantic interest— along with their variants. This sheet is applied to the musical corpus of the Spanish punk band Desechables (1981-1989), which was specifically compiled for this study. Finally, the results obtained and the conclusions of the research are presented.
