RESUMEN: En este trabajo se estudia la resolución de ecuaciones por radicales. En un primer momento, se estudia el problema sobre cuerpos de característica 0 y, posteriormente, sobre cuerpos de característica p. Para todo ello se ha tenido que incluir antes una amplia colección de resultados previos. Finalmente, se ha estudiado el teorema de irresolubilidad de la ecuación general de grado n dado por Abel.
ABSTRACT: In this work we study the solving of equations by radicals. In a first moment, the problema has been studied on fields of characteristic 0 and, later, on fields of characteristic p. For all this we have had to first include a broad collection of previous results. Finally, the theorem of irresolubility of the equation of general form of degree n, given by Abel, has been studied.
