Eficiencia en el sector energético europeo

Abstract

Esta tesis se ha desarrollado con el fin profundizar en el conocimiento del sector energético y conocer vías que permitan incrementar los niveles de eficiencia del sector, y con ello reducir los impactos negativos en la economía (o incluso favorecer los positivos). Con este objetivo, en el documento se ofrecen cuatro análisis empíricos, dos de ellos centrados en el sector eléctrico europeo, un tercero en el sector eléctrico español y un cuarto en el impacto del sector energético en otros sectores de la economía.

The aim of this thesis is to improve the knowledge of the energy sector and to find new ways to increase its efficiency, and thereby reducing the negative impacts on the economy (or even favouring the positive ones). To this end, the thesis offers four empirical analysis. Two chapters are focused on the European electricity sector, another one is based on the Spanish electricity sector, and the fourth one analyses the impact of the energy sector on other economic sectors.
