Análisis económico financiero del sector de la consultoría en Cantabria

Abstract

El tema de estudio del trabajo es el sector de la consultoría en Cantabria y su evolución en el periodo 2013-2017. Se hace un análisis detallado de las 10 empresas con mayor facturación de Cantabria, centrándose en cuatro indicadores financieros principales: rentabilidad económica, rentabilidad financiera, ratio de solvencia y endeudamiento. Se analiza la situación del sector en las comunidades de Cantabria, País Vasco y Asturias; y para terminar, se hace una comparativa entre las 10 empresas de referencia en Cantabria con el resto de empresas de las comunidades analizadas. El objetivo del trabajo es valorar la situación del sector de la consultoría en Cantabria, y particularmente de las 10 empresas de referencia en la región, y ver cómo han afrontado la salida de la crisis. Para conseguir este objetivo se han comparado los principales indicadores económicos del sector, obtenidos de la base de datos SABI. Se llega a la conclusión de que en Cantabria la situación de este sector ha ido mejorando desde el año 2013, presentando unos indicadores mejores a los del País Vasco y Asturias. También podemos constatar que las 10 empresas punteras del sector en Cantabria presentan unos ratios superiores a los del sector en su conjunto.

The subject of study of the work is the sector of the consultancy in Cantabria and its evolution in the period 2013-2017. A detailed analysis is made of the 10 companies with the highest turnover in Cantabria, focusing on four main financial indicators: economic profitability, financial profitability, solvency ratio and indebtedness. The situation of the sector in the communities of Cantabria, Basque Country and Asturias is analyzed; and finally, a comparison is made between the 10 reference companies in Cantabria with the rest of the companies in the analyzed communities. The objective of the work is to assess the situation of the consultancy sector in Cantabria, and particularly of the 10 reference companies in the region, and see how they have faced the exit from the crisis. To achieve this objective, the main economic indicators of the sector, obtained from the SABI database, have been compared. It is concluded that in Cantabria the situation of this sector has been improving since 2013, presenting better indicators to those of the Basque Country and Asturias. We can also confirm that the 10 leading companies of the sector in Cantabria present higher ratios than those of the sector as a whole.
