El rap y la igualdad de género en el aula de primaria

Abstract

RESUMEN: En la actualidad, la música forma parte de la vida cotidiana de todas las personas. En Educación Primaria la música se utiliza para el desarrollo del alumnado tanto a nivel individual como a nivel grupal. Muchos docentes optan por enseñar ciertos géneros musicales como la música clásica o las canciones infantiles, pero existen géneros poco utilizados en la enseñanza y uno de ellos es el rap. Este tipo de música atrae a los alumnos, haciendo que de una manera distinta puedan aprender diferentes temáticas que afectan a la sociedad hoy en día. En este Trabajo fin de Grado examinaremos como a través del rap es posible trabajar la igualdad de género, un tema al que, desde edades tempranas, los alumnos tienen que acercarse por medio de diferentes instrumentos. Para ello se propone una serie de ejercicios, a modo de secuencia didáctica, con el objetivo de estimular al alumnado y acercarlo a las temáticas relacionadas con la igualdad de género.

ABSTRACT: Nowadays, music is part of the daily life of all people. In Primary Education, music is used for student development both at the individual level and at the group level. Many centers choose to teach certain musical genres but there are genres rarely used in teaching and one of them is rap. This type of music attracts students, offering them the opportunity of learning different themes that affect society today. In this final degree dissertation we will examine how through rap it is possible to teach what gender equality means, an issue that, from an early age, students have to approach through different instruments. In order to fulfill this aim, we propose a series of exercises, a didactic sequence mode, with the objective of stimulating students and bringing them closer to the issues related to gender equality.
