Plan de actuación frente a una emergencia a bordo de un buque RO-PAX de la compañía Brittany Ferries

Abstract

En el presente Trabajo Fin de Máster titulado, “PLAN DE ACTUACIÓN FRENTE A UNA EMERGENCIA A BORDO DE UN BUQUE RO-PAX DE LA COMPAÑÍA BRITTANY FERRIES”, se muestran los cambios que ha habido en las últimas décadas en materia de seguridad y protección marítima. Así como el plan de intervención frente a un incendio en un buque ro-pax de la compañía Brittany Ferries. En él se muestra que el inicio de un incendio no debe de acabar en tragedia. La experiencia y los ejercicios a bordo de los miembros de la tripulación junto con la colaboración de los pasajeros harán posible que una emergencia se desarrolle con éxito. La Organización Marítima Internacional, debería a través de los estados miembros intervenir y hacer cumplir el Convenio SOLAS prohibiendo la construcción de mega cruceros con botes salvavidas con capacidad de 370 personas, ya que la limitación está en un máximo por bote de 150 personas.

In this Study End of Master entitled, “ACTION PLAN TO COPE WITH AN EMERGENCY ON A SHIP OF THE COMPANY BRITTANY FERRIES”, the changes that have taken place in the last decades on maritime safety and security, and an action plan to cope with a fire and abandonment on a ship of the company Brittany Ferries are exposed. It explains as well the fact that the start of a fire must not necessarily end up on a tragedy. The experience and the drills on board of the crew members with the collaboration of passengers will enable an emergency to develop successfully. The International Maritime Organization, through the member states, should intervene and enforce the SOLAS Convention prohibiting the construction of mega cruisers with lifeboats with a capacity of 370 people, since the limitation is at a maximum per boat of 150 people.
