Educación emocional a través del cine de animación infantil

Abstract

RESUMEN: La Educación Emocional nunca ha recibido la atención que se merece en la escuela. Sin embargo, las investigaciones de los últimos años han demostrado la importancia que tiene en un niño el desarrollo de la Inteligencia Emocional y los beneficios que esta le proporciona en su día a día. Por ello, cada día más colegios incluyen la Educación Emocional en sus programas. Este trabajo se centra en el modelo de habilidad de la Inteligencia Emocional, de Mayer y Salovey. Para trabajar dicho modelo, se expone en este trabajo una propuesta didáctica cuyo objetivo es que los niños trabajen la identificación, comprensión, facilitación y regulación emocional. Esta propuesta está dirigida al tercer ciclo de Educación Primaria y basa sus recursos en el cine de animación infantil, ya que este se considera como un material eficaz en el aula, y, concretamente para le enseñanza de la Educación Emocional.

ABSTRACT: Emotional education has never received the attention it deserves in schools. However, recent investigations have demonstrated the importance that Emotional Intelligence has on a child and they also have shown the quantity of benefits that it provides children in their daily lives. That is why there are more schools each day that include Emotional Education in their programs. This work focuses on the ability model of Emotional Intelligence, created by Mayer and Salovey. In order to work that model, it is presented in this project an educational design whose purpose is for children to work on perception, understanding, facilitation and manipulation of emotions. This proposal is aimed at third stage children in Elementary Education and it is based on the use of children’s animated films as a resource, given that it is considered an efficient material in the classroom, and, specifically for the Emotional Education teaching.
