El desarrollo de la comprensión lectora en el ámbito de E/LE en Educación Primaria a través del álbum ilustrado

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo pretende aproximarse a la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera (E/LE) en Educación Primaria. Para ello, se estudiará el álbum ilustrado como herramienta educativa en el contexto de la enseñanza de segundas lenguas. En primer lugar, tras una revisión de las grandes teorías de adquisición del lenguaje y de los métodos de aprendizaje de la lectura, se presenta un análisis de los alumnos de segundas lenguas y sus factores de aprendizaje. Finalmente, se muestran los beneficios y propiedades de la literatura infantil y del género literario álbum ilustrado dentro del aula de primaria.

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this paper is to explore an approach involving Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) in Primary Education. For that reason, we study the picture book as an educational tool in the context of second language teaching for the first basic education. At first, after an examination of some of the major theories of language acquisition and learning methods of reading, we present, thus, an analysis of second language students and their learning factors. Finally, we show the value and benefits of infant literature and the particular literary genre calls picture book in the primary classroom.
