Hacia la inclusión del colectivo transexual en el ámbito de la Educación Primaria

Abstract

RESUMEN: La transexualidad es una realidad que está presente en la sociedad desde la antigüedad, sin embargo, es en la actualidad cuando este colectivo está adquiriendo fuerza y reconocimiento ante sus derechos. Por este motivo, es necesario concienciar a las personas acerca de esta temática y comenzar a dar respuesta a este colectivo desde el ámbito social y educativo. A lo largo de este trabajo, se hará una revisión de los conceptos que giran en torno a la transexualidad y cuál es la situación actual de este colectivo dentro de los contextos familiares y educativos. Además, se pondrá de manifiesto una propuesta de intervención educativa, cuyo objetivo es formar a los principales agentes educativos de los centros escolares en esta materia. Finalmente, se recogerán una serie de conclusiones que se fundamentan en el desconocimiento existente sobre esta temática y aclaran cuál es la realidad existente ante la misma.

ABSTRACT: Transsexuality is a reality that is present in society since antiquity, however, it is currently when this group is acquiring strength and recognition of their rights. For this reason, it is necessary to raise awareness about this issue and begin to respond to this group from the social and educational field. Throughout this work, we will review the concepts that revolve around transsexuality and what is the current situation of this group within family and educational contexts. In addition, a proposal for educational intervention will be revealed, the objective of which is to train the main educational agents of the schools in this matter. Finally, a series of conclusions will be collected that are based on the existing ignorance on this subject and clarify what is the existing reality before it.
