RESUMEN: Este trabajo académico trata sobre la Violación de Nanking. En primer lugar, se dará una visión general de los antecedentes del suceso. Para ello, se tratarán una serie de aspectos fundamentales, como las relaciones entre China y Japón a lo largo de la historia. Posteriormente, se explicará el propio conflicto entre ambas naciones. Por un lado, se realizará un acercamiento al papel desempeñado por Japón en el territorio chino. Más adelante, tendrá lugar la explicación de aspectos específicos del conflicto, como la metodología de los soldados japoneses o el sistema de mujeres de confort. El trabajo finalizará con la exposición de las conclusiones y la bibliografía.
ABSTRACT: This academic work deals with the "Rape of Nanking". In the first place, an overview of the background of the conflict will be given. This will deal with fundamental aspects such as relations between China and Japan throughout history. Subsequently, the conflict between the two nations will be explained. On the one hand, there will be an approach to the role played by Japan in the Chinese territory. Later, the explanation of specific aspects of the conflict will take place, such as the methodology of the Japanese soldiers or the comfort women's system. The work will end with the presentation of the conclusions and the bibliography.
