Violencia de género, violencia doméstica y su impacto sobre el menor

Abstract

Quienes han sufrido de forma directa y continua los delitos de violencia doméstica y violencia de género han sido siempre las mujeres y los menores, por esta razón estos sujetos merecen un plus de protección que nuestro ordenamiento jurídico les procura otorgar. Aunque en ocasiones, la normativa que pretende salvaguardar los derechos de estos se aleja de la realidad, no pudiendo así cumplir de una manera satisfactoria su función de tutela

Women and children have always suffered from the crimes of both domestic and gender violence in a direct and continuous way. For this reason, these groups deserve an extra protection which our legal system must seek to grant. However, the legal system, which tries to take care and protect the rights of these disadvantaged groups, fails in some occasions. If it fails, it means that it is unable to safeguard the welfare of these groups or fulfill its guardianship function in a proper way
