Historia del Arte y mujeres artistas en la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria

Abstract

RESUMEN La Historia del Arte es una disciplina que tradicionalmente ha tenido un papel secundario dentro de la materia dedicada a las Ciencias Sociales en la etapa educativa de la ESO. Lo mismo podríamos afirmar respecto a la presencia de las mujeres artistas, la cual suele ser escasa de por sí en ámbitos académicos superiores. Este Trabajo Final de Máster pretende justificar la importancia de la enseñanza de dicha disciplina junto con el aporte de referentes femeninos en la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, vislumbrar cuál es la preeminencia y enfoque que se le otorga a ambos a través del currículo oficial y de los libros de textos de dicha etapa, para, finalmente, poder desarrollar una propuesta adaptada a las posibles necesidades detectadas respecto a su enseñanza en el contexto educativo actual.

ABSTRACT The History of Art has traditionally been a discipline which a minor role in the subject dedicated to Social Science along the Compulsory Secondary Education. As well as the presence of female artists, which is also scarce in higher educational areas. This Master’s Thesis aims to justify the importance of teaching this discipline with the contribution of female artistic referents in Compulsory Secondary Education, in addition to observe the significance and perspective given to both of them from the official curriculum and the schoolbooks of this educational stage. Finally, it will be developed a proposal adapted to the possible necessities detected in its teaching in the current educational context.
