Introducción del patrimonio industrial de Cantabria en la materia de Tecnología Industrial

Abstract

RESUMEN Este trabajo comienza reflexionando sobre la situación de desconocimiento en la que el patrimonio industrial se encuentra respecto a otros ejemplos patrimoniales con mayor tradición. Analizándose el desarrollo de la educación patrimonial en la actualidad y el lugar que este podría tomar en ella, considerando siempre esa dependencia que la conservación de los bienes patrimoniales tiene con su apreciación. La comunidad autónoma de Cantabria cuenta con numerosos elementos patrimoniales, entre ellos trazas de ese pasado industrial de valor tanto patrimonial como didáctico. Sin embargo, la poca transmisión que se ha dado a la relevancia de estos dificulta su aprovechamiento y conservación. Así para impulsar la difusión del patrimonio industrial de Cantabria se plantea una propuesta didáctica que, a través de diferentes actividades interactivas, cooperativas y de investigación pretende facilitar el acercamiento del alumnado a dicho patrimonio industrial invitando a su sensibilización

ABSTRACT This work starts by analysing the situation of ignorance in which the industrial heritage is nowadays compared to other heritage examples with a deeper tradition, studying the development of heritage education and how its industrial branch could fit on it. Always considering the direct relation between the proper preservation of heritage elements and its appreciation. Cantabria has numerous heritage elements, including the legacy of that industrial era, which has both cultural and didactic value. However, the lack of divulgation hinders their proper use and conservation. In order to promote the rich industrial heritage of Cantabria, a didactic proposal is developed. This aims to facilitate the approach of students to this industrial past, through different interactive, cooperative and research activities, improving this topic awareness.
