RESUMEN: En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster (TFM) se realiza un breve análisis de la edición del curso 2018-2019 del concurso CIENCIA CON ARTE promovido por la Unidad de Cultura Científica y de la Innovación (UCC+i) de la Universidad de Cantabria (UC). A través de la observación de dos de los seis grupos de estudiantes cántabros participantes en el concurso, se analiza la metodología utilizada en el mismo, de carácter interdisciplinar o STEAM, con especial énfasis en el contenido matemático. El objetivo principal es determinar la relevancia de las matemáticas en dos de las líneas de investigación del concurso, y su impacto sobre el aprendizaje de esta materia en el alumnado participante.
ABSTRACT: In this Master Thesis, it is presented a brief analysis of the 2018-2019 edition of the Concurso Ciencia con Arte, promoted by the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unity (UCC+i) of the University of Cantabria (UC). Through the observation of two of the six groups of the Cantabrian students participating in the contest, the interdisciplinary methodology used in this contest (also called STEAM methodology), with special emphasis on mathematical content, is analyzed. The main objective is to determine the relevance of mathematics in two of the research lines of the contest, and its impact on the learning of this subject in the participating students.
