Análisis económico-financiero del sector público de turismo

Abstract

RESUMEN: El estudio que se va a llevar a cabo en este trabajo va a abarcar un análisis completo del Sector Público del Turismo en España. En él se incluirán los ámbitos tanto económicos como financieros de dicho Sector. Para ello, se han seleccionado cinco empresas públicas que forman parte del turismo y a través de ellas vamos a conocer la situación en la que se encuentra el Sector. Dicho análisis puede dividirse en dos partes, una primera de ámbito más generalizado y global del Sector del Turismo, en el que se van a tratar temas de la economía de nuestro país, como el estudio y la importancia en el PIB nacional, los movimientos turísticos nacionales y el flujo de entrada de visitantes por las fronteras españolas, así como también la importancia de los subsectores del turismo. Por otro lado, la segunda parte de este proyecto va a recoger todo un estudio económico y financiero, centrándose en las cinco empresas que se han seleccionado para llevar a cabo este trabajo. Se ha hecho uso de los balances de situación para poder así efectuar el cálculo de la situación patrimonial, de la cuenta de resultados, el análisis financiero tanto a corto plazo como a largo plazo y el análisis de rentabilidades, todos ellos con sus ratios correspondientes. El estudio se ha llevado a cabo en base a la comparativa de los años 2014, 2015 y 2016, realizando los cálculos correspondientes para poder evaluar la evolución de dichas empresas en el Sector y obtener de este modo las conclusiones necesarias. Para finalizar y como última parte de este trabajo de fin de grado, se añaden las conclusiones obtenidas al realizar el análisis económico-financiero, lo que ha permitido que se conozca la situación actual de las empresas y por consiguiente, del Sector

ABSTRACT: The study that will be carried out in this dissertation will cover a complete analysis of the Public Sector of Tourism in Spain. It will include both the economic and financial areas of the said Sector. To accomplish this, five public companies that are part of tourism have been selected, and through them we will know the situation in which the Sector is currently found.

This analysis can be divided into two parts, a first one of a more generalized and global scope of the Tourism Sector, which will deal with economic issues of our country, such as the study and the importance in the national GDP, the nation wide tourist activity and the influx of visitors through the Spanish borders, as well as the importance of the tourism sub-sectors.

On the other hand, the second part of this project will collect an entire economic and financial study, focusing on the five companies that have been as selected as subjects to carry out this dissertation.

The balance sheets have been used to calculate the patrimonial situation, the profit and loss account, the financial analysis both in the short and long term and the analysis of profitability, all with their corresponding ratios. The study was carried out based on the comparison of the years 2014, 2015 and 2016, making the corresponding calculations in order to evaluate the evolution of said companies in the studied sector and this way obtain the necessary conclusions.

To conclude, and as a final part of this end-of-degree dissertation, the conclusions obtained when conducting the economic-financial analysis have been included in this project, which has allowed us to know the current situation of the companies and, consequently, of the Public Sector of Tourism in Spain.
