La educación mediática: cómo educar a los menores para los riesgos de las nuevas tecnologías y la red

Abstract

RESUMEN: El trabajo que se presenta a continuación propone una investigación a pequeña escala sobre la educación acerca de los riesgos a los que se exponen con el uso de las nuevas tecnologías. El foco de atención se pondrá principalmente en el ámbito familiar, primer agente social de los menores, aunque también se pondrá de manifiesto el papel que juegan la escuela como institución y el maestro como profesional, a la hora de educar en riesgos en la Red. Así mismo, el estudio de las diferentes opiniones que hay al respecto, dará lugar a una pequeña investigación que nos ayudará a esclarecer ligeramente cuáles son los patrones de comportamiento que se presentan tanto en familiares (con respecto a su forma de educar), como en menores (en relación a los hábitos que poseen). Debido a esto, la investigación será llevada a cabo en entornos familiares en los que se conviva con niños menores de 6 años. Los resultados de los cuestionarios nos ayudarán a conocer cómo es la situación a la que hemos de enfrentarnos.

ABSTRACT: The work presented below proposes a small-scale research on education about the risks to which they are exposed with the use of new technologies. The focus of attention will be mainly on the family environment, the first social agent of minors, although it will also show the role played by the school as an institution and the teacher as a professional, when it comes to educating on the Internet. Likewise, the study of the different opinions that there are in this respect, will give rise to a small investigation that will help us to clarify slightly what are the behavior patterns that appear both in relatives (with respect to their way of educating), and in minors (in relation to the habits they have). Due to this, the research will be carried out in family environments where children live with children under 6 years of age. The results of the questionnaires will help us to know what the situation we are facing is like.
