Abstract

RESUMEN: La participación infantil es un derecho fundamental que debe ser asegurado a todos los niños y niñas. Sin embargo, este no es un camino sencillo ya que la mayoría de los adultos les niegan esta participación. Pese a las barreras que limitan ó frenan la participación infantil en el contexto educativo, algunos modelos educativos como el de la escuela inclusiva defienden este derecho tomando como uno de sus pilares fundamentales dar voz al alumnado. Mediante este proceso de participación, escuela y alumnado se enriquecen mutuamente. A lo largo de este trabajo, se pretende analizar este derecho a través de una revisión bibliográfica de algunos de los autores que abordan esta temática. Se proponen posteriormente, algunas reflexiones y experiencias sobre el mismo.

ABSTRACT: Children’s participation is a fundamental right that must be assured for all the children since it will allow them, for instance, getting integrated into the adult world, which is a world of decisions. Nevertheless, this one is not a simple way because adults normally have a mistaken idea about children’s participation that makes them feel fear about it. In spite of the barriers that stop the participation in the educational context, some educational models as the inclusive school, believes faithfully in this right and considers as one of his fundamental props the fact of giving voice to the students. This process makes both prosper mutually. Along this speech, my intention is to analyze this right across by doing a bibliographical review of some authors who approach this subject matter, as well as offering some reflections and experiences about the same one.
