Propuesta de tertulia dialógica literaria dirigida a familias para sensibilizar sobre la discapacidad

Abstract

RESUMEN Hoy en día cada vez es más frecuente la escolarización de niños y niñas con algún tipo de discapacidad. La falta de conocimiento hacia este colectivo genera una problemática que influye en las actitudes que se tienen en la escuela generando comportamientos de exclusión. Es por esto por lo que en el presente trabajo se diseña una propuesta de intervención educativa dirigida de forma directa a las familias, para favorecer la inclusión y sensibilizar sobre la necesidad de aceptar y valorar la diversidad, en la que el alumnado también se verá beneficiado de forma indirecta. La propuesta está diseñada para trabajar este cambio de mirada hacia la discapacidad mediante una actuación educativa de éxito. Distintas investigaciones a nivel europeo han analizado innovaciones educativas que producen éxito escolar, entre ellas, las tertulias literarias dialógicas, que es la actividad que se lleva a cabo a lo largo de la propuesta. Se ha seleccionado la obra clásica El Principito, que aporta valores de diversidad y empatía, y que enseña a no focalizar la mirada en descubrir las dificultades que se tienen, sino en aprender a descubrir las capacidades que a cada uno le hacen único.

ABSTRACT Nowadays it is more and more common for children with some kind of disability to go to school. The lack of knowledge about this group generates a problem that influences the attitudes held in school, generating exclusion behaviours. It is for this reason that this work designs a proposal for educational intervention aimed directly towards families, to promote inclusion and raise awareness of the need to accept and value diversity, in which students will also be benefited indirectly. The proposal is designed to work this change of perspective towards disability through a successful educational action. Different investigations at European level have analyzed educational innovations that produce school success, among them, the literary dialogical gatherings, which is the activity that is carried out during the proposal. The classic book The Little Prince has been selected, which provides values of diversity and empathy, and which teaches us not to focus our attention on discovering the difficulties we have, rather on learning to discover the abilities that make each one unique. The expected results with the proposal are contributing towards the importance of appreciating and respecting difference.
