La imagen de la mujer en los clásicos Disney

Abstract

RESUMEN Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado pretende analizar los valores, roles, estereotipos y funciones sociales que cumple y proyecta la mujer en las películas clásicas de la Factoría Disney. Se trata por lo tanto de valorar si las películas analizadas representan debidamente a la mujer hoy en día, o si, por el contrario, se está dando una visión poco adecuada de ella debido al momento histórico en el que han sido realizadas. A través de cinco películas, se intentará concluir si la imagen de la mujer ha ido cambiando con el tiempo o si por el contrario se ha quedado paralizada, sabiendo de esta manera qué es lo que estamos proyectando a nuestros niños.

ABSTRACT The aim of this Final Degree Project is to analyse the values, roles, stereotypes and social functions that women fulfil and project in the Disney Factory’s classic films. It is therefore a matter of assessing whether the films analysed represent properly the woman today, or if, on the contrary, an inadequate vision of her is being given due to the historical moment in which the films have been made. Through five films, I will try to conclude if the image of the woman has changed over the years or if on the contrary it has been paralyzed, knowing in this way what we are projecting to our children.
