Resistiendo al sedentarismo (plan integrador de la actividad física en la escuela)

Abstract

RESUMEN La obesidad es considerada por los expertos como la gran pandemia del siglo XXI, y unida a la desinformación de los padres y a la baja autoestima de los niños que la padecen, genera un problema general que hace necesaria nuestra implicación como educadores. Para ello se elabora este plan con el objetivo de convertir el centro escolar en un lugar favorecedor de la actividad física con función anatómica funcional y lúdica. Se utiliza una metodología constructivista, en la que los niños forman su aprendizaje adaptando y ampliando sus esquemas previos, guiados por los profesores. Se obtienen así resultados que muestran mejoras en las capacidades físicas básicas, hábitos de vida más saludables y mayor tiempo empleado en la actividad física. Se concluye así que el plan sirve como incentivo para un cambio en la dinámica actualmente sedentaria de muchos centros

ABSTRACT Obesity is considered by experts as the great pandemic of the 21st century, and together with the misinformation of parents and the low self-esteem of children who suffer from it, generates a general problem that makes our involvement as educators necessary. To this end, this plan is developed with the aim of converting the school into a place conducive to physical activity with a playful and functional anatomical function. A constructivist methodology is used, in which children form their learning by adapting and expanding their previous schemes, guided by teachers. The results obtained show improvements in basic physical abilities, healthier living habits and more time spent in physical activity. It is concluded that the plan serves as an incentive for a change in the current sedentary dynamics of many schools.
