El elemento lúdico como agente motivador en la clase de ELE: el uso de la serie de televisión Allí abajo para trabajar la competencia sociocultural

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este Trabajo Fin de Máster se centra en la utilización de material audiovisual como elemento lúdico para tratar la competencia sociocultural en el aula de E/LE gracias a una serie de televisión emitida en una cadena a nivel nacional. Se buscará por tanto delimitar qué elementos forman la competencia sociocultural y se dará explicación de por qué motivo es tan importante ser tratada en clase como una parte integrada más del aprendizaje de E/LE y no como una sucesión de tópicos o símbolos internos, como ocurría tradicionalmente. Es decir, se busca mostrar las diferencias intraculturales en España gracias al uso del audiovisual. Una vez se ha dejado clara la importancia de tratar el componente sociocultural, se busca una buena manera de hacerlo, viendo en el componente lúdico el mejor aliado. Para ello, se profundiza en la estrecha relación existente entre lo lúdico y el aprendizaje, concluyendo que es uno de los mejores recursos que hay en educación para generar motivación en cualquier estudiante. Tratando de alcanzar este objetivo, se presenta el análisis de la primera temporada de la serie televisiva Allí abajo, con la intención de crear una unidad didáctica destinada al nivel intermedio, B1-B2, que complemente al soporte audiovisual, ayude a desterrar tópicos y a tender puentes de proximidad cultural.

ABSTRACT: This master thesis defense is focused on the use of audiovisual material as a playful element in order to treat the sociocultural competence in the E/LE classroom through a TV serial showed in a national TV Channel. The aim of this proposal is to demarcate which components are essential to make the sociocultural competence real and to explain the importance to be treated in the lecture as an integrated part of the E/LE learning and not to be treated as a string of clichés or internal symbols as it used to happen traditional talking. To sum up, the main goal of this is to show up the cultural differences that exist in Spain through the use of audiovisual material. After making clear the importance of treating the sociocultural element, we also search to match this with the playful element, in order to reach the best combination between both of them. Hence, it is necessary to go in depth in the narrow connection among the playful element and the learning one, concluding that this is one of the best resources that we can find in the education to motivate and incentive any of the students. In order to reach this goal, we have analysed the first season of the tv serial known as Allí abajo, with the intention of creating a lesson with a B1-B2 level which will be a complement of the audiovisual material, a useful link in order to avoid clichés and a real need to reach the cultural approach.
