Blockchain: la nueva tecnología desconocida

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo pretende ser una guía orientativa para aquel público que no conoce de cerca la Blockchain. El objetivo de este trabajo es explicar qué es la tecnología Blockchain y conocer el grado de conocimiento de la población respecto a esta tecnología. En relación con el primer objetivo se realiza la primera parte del trabajo, la cual, funciona a modo de guía. Se presentan distintos términos utilizados en torno a esta tecnología, funcionamiento, características y diferencias. Se comienza definiendo qué es la Blockchain y sus características, así como sus ventajas y desventajas y las distintas etapas por las que ha pasado desde su creación. Después se comentan en profundidad cada una de esas etapas y las plataformas que han permitido su evolución. Respecto al segundo objetivo, se realiza una encuesta entre una muestra variada de 144 personas. A partir de los resultados obtenidos se observa que el nivel de conocimiento respecto de esta tecnología es bajo. Ante este nivel bajo de conocimiento, se justifica la necesidad y la importancia de guías como la que en este documento se recoge. En lo que respecta a la estructura del documento. Tras el desarrollo de la guía en la primera parte, se incluye un apartado en el que se explica la metodología. A continuación, se analizan los resultados obtenidos de la encuesta realizada. Para finalizar, se realizan una serie de conclusiones obtenidas a raíz de la realización del trabajo.

ABSTRACT: The present work intends to be an indicative guide for that public that does not know the Blockchain closely. The objective of this paper is to explain what Blockchain technology is and to know the degree of knowledge of the population about this technology. Concerning the first objective, the first part of the work is carried out, which is a guide, presenting different terms used around this technology, operation, characteristics and differences. It begins by defining what the Blockchain is and its characteristics, also its advantages and disadvantages and the different stages it has gone through since its inception. Afterwards, each of these stages and the platforms that have allowed its evolution are discussed in depth. Regarding the second objective, a survey is conducted among a varied sample of 144 people. From the results obtained it is observed that the level of knowledge regarding this technology is low. Faced with this low level of knowledge, the need and importance of guidelines such as the one in this document is justified. Regarding the structure of the document. After the development of the guide in the first part, a section is included in which the methodology is explained. Next, the results obtained from the survey carried out are analyzed. Finally, a series of conclusions obtained as a result of carrying out the work are made.
