La Insuficiencia renal crónica :paciente sometido a hemodiálisis

Abstract

RESUMEN : La insuficiencia renal (IR) es una enfermedad que afecta al funcionamiento normal de los riñones, impidiendo que éstos desarrollen sus funciones de manera aguda o crónica. En el caso de la insuficiencia renal crónica (IRC) los daños son irreversibles y el paciente tendrá que someterse a un tratamiento sustitutivo del que va a depender de por vida. La importancia de esta patología reside en el aumento de los factores que la provocan, además de la atención especial que se requiere debido al tratamiento, concretamente, en el caso de la hemodiálisis. Esta técnica conlleva el empleo del proceso enfermero, combinando pensamiento crítico y razonamiento clínico, incorporando también capacidades técnicas y de relación interpersonal, para lograr cuidados de calidad de manera estandarizada, pero a la vez adaptándose a las necesidades específicas de cada paciente. El objetivo principal de esta monografía es ampliar los conocimientos sobre esta patología y su tratamiento con diálisis para lograr un cuidado enfermero eficaz, que beneficie a los profesionales en su labor y a los pacientes.

ABSTRACT : Renal failure (IR) is a disease that affects the normal functioning of the kidneys, preventing them from performing their functions in an acute or chronic manner. In the case of chronic renal failure (CRF) the damage is irreversible and the patient will have to undergo a substitute treatment that will depend on for life. The importance of this pathology lies in the increase of the factors that cause it, in addition to the special attention that is required due to the treatment, specifically, in the case of hemodialysis. This technique involves the use of the nursing process, combining critical thinking and clinical reasoning, also incorporating technical skills and interpersonal relationship, to achieve quality care in a standardized way, but at the same time adapting to the specific needs of each patient. The main objective of this monograph is to expand the knowledge about this pathology and its treatment with dialysis to achieve an efficient nursing care that benefits the professionals in their work and the patients.
