Revisión de los clásicos infantiles a través de la película Maléfica

Abstract

RESUMEN El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar una revisión de los clásicos infantiles comparándolo con la película Maléfica. Para ello, se comienza realizando un análisis de dicha película y de su ruptura con los estereotipos de género que tan presentes están en los cuentos y películas clásicas que todos conocemos. Además, no solo muestra otra visión de la mujer, sino que, a través de su protagonista, Maléfica, nos da una versión diferente del personaje del villano. Los personajes tan humanizados de este filme nos ayudan a transmitir ciertos valores a los alumnos a través de una serie de actividades que proponemos en la última parte del presente documento. Además, demostramos como a la vez que transmitimos este tipo de valores, también trabajamos y reforzamos otras muchas cuestiones relacionadas con el día a día del aula

ABSTRACT The present work aims to do a review of children’s classics comparing them with the film Maleficent. In order to do that, we start making an analysis of that film and of its break up with the gender stereotypes that were so present in the classic tales and films that everybody know. Moreover, it does not show just another vision of women, but, through its main character, Maleficent, it gives us another version of the villain. The humanized characters are useful to transmit values to the children throughout a series of activities that we propose in the last part of the document. In addition, we show that while we transmit these values to the students, we are also working and reinforcing other aspects related with the daily life of the classroom.
