El parque natural Saja-Besaya: un recurso ambiental para educación infantil

Abstract

RESUMEN El siguiente trabajo de fin de grado consistirá en la elaboración de dos tareas. Por una parte, se procederá al desarrollo de una pequeña guía para maestros, recopilando información sobre uno de los lugares más emblemáticos y prestigiosos de la comunidad autónoma de Cantabria, el Parque Natural Saja-Besaya. En esta guía aparecerá una síntesis de las principales características del parque, con el objetivo de convertirse en un recurso educativo para que maestras y maestros en la comunidad cántabra, puedan trabajar el medio ambiente en la etapa de Educación Infantil. Por otra parte, se elaborará una unidad didáctica concebida para un alumnado de 5 años de edad, que contará con una serie de actividades de educación ambiental, las cuales podrán aplicarse directamente o ser tomadas como base para ser adaptadas a otras edades y/o necesidades de los alumnos. Los fines principales de esta unidad serán poner en contacto a los alumnos con el medio ambiente que les rodea, descubriendo las oportunidades que les ofrece y pudiendo combatir así el creciente sedentarismo, implicar a las familias en la vida de los centros educativos fomentándose la colaboración familia-escuela y, favorecer desde el inicio de curso, una buena relación entre los alumnos.

ABSTRACT The following end-of-degree project will consist of the preparation of two tasks. On the one hand, we will proceed to the development of a small guide for teachers, collecting information on one of the most emblematic and prestigious places in the autonomous community of Cantabria, the Saja-Besaya Natural Park. In this guide there will be a summary of the principal characteristics of the natural park, with the aim of becoming an educational resource for teachers in the Cantabrian Community to work on the environment in the Early Childhood Education stage. On the other hand, a didactic unit will be developed for5 years old students, which will consist of a series of environmental education activities to be used by teachers directly or adapted depending on the age and/or needs of their students. The main purposes of this unit will be to put students in contact with their surrounding environment, contributing to fight against the increase of sedentary lifestyle, to involve families in the life of educational centers, favoring family-school collaboration and, from the beginning of the course, to foster a good relationship among students.
